Every project is different. Art of Floors helps designers create the perfect custom rug for every project by simplifying the process at every step of the way. We start each project with a Design Discovery Zoom call to discuss your project’s inspiration, budget, timeline and requirements.
How We Work
At Art of Floors, we know that you want to knock the socks off of your clients. In order to do that you’ll need a rug that strikes a delicate balance between beauty and performance.
The problem is, it’s difficult to know whom you can trust to achieve the aesthetic you envision while also meeting the project’s technical requirements, timeline, and budget. With a million details to manage, finding a vendor you can trust (and enjoy working with!) from project spec to final installation can leave you feeling uncertain and overwhelmed.
We believe you shouldn’t have to be a rug expert to make your vision come to life. And we believe designers shouldn’t have to navigate the complex rug-purchase process alone.
At Art of Floors, we understand that combining color accuracy, suitable, quality materials, and exceptional design execution can be a challenge. That’s why we use 20+ years in the textiles industry to come alongside fellow designers in a process we call “Designer to Designer”. This process ensures your rug-buying process is smooth and the resulting installation is exceptional.
Here’s how we do it: First, each project begins with a 30-minute “Designer to Designer” discovery call with our US-based design team. On this call, we’ll work hard to understand your project’s design inspiration, location specs, budget, and timeline. Next, we’ll oversee every detail from concept to sample to satisfaction to ensure the rug meets your expectations. Finally, on installation day, you can stand back and admire the rug as both a perfect demonstration and execution of your design expertise.
